Florence May (Rose) Hymers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence May (Rose) Hymers (Odessa, Ontario), who passed away on January 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Hymers; her son-in-law Allen MacHattie; and her mother Adeline Rose. She is survived by: her children, Carol Andrews (Gord), Bruce Hymers (Nicole), Marlene MacHattie (Roddy Todd) and Shelley Hymers; and her grandchildren, Tracy, Shawn, Nerissa, Chris, Marshall, Lindsay, Jeremy, Megan, Josh and Jessie. She is also survived by grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Emmanuel United Church (63 Factory St, Odessa, ON K0H2H0). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wilton Cemetery (1845 Fisk Rd, Odessa, ON K0H2H0).
Memorial donations to Emmanuel United Church or Wilton Cemetery will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
