He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; and his sisters, Patricia Hyde and Barbara Brynaert. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (Paul Nesbitt) and Barbara (Scott Wade); his grandchildren, MacKenzie, Callaghan Wade, Barbara, Matthew and Charlotte Nesbitt; his great grandchild Aubree Boot; and his nieces and nephews, Marken, Matthew and Angela Brynaert.

If desired, donations to the Acclaim Health New Dementia Care Centre would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
