She was predeceased by: her husband Heinrich Thomsen; and her sister Inge of Germany. She is survived by: her children, Christine (Jon Diniz), Peter (LoriAnn) and Elisabeth (Philip Smart); and her grandchildren, Dean, Hannah, Emily (Devon), Rebecca, Anikka and Katrina.
