She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Anna, Rosemarie, Dewer and David; her daughter-in-law Claudia; her grandchildren, Quincy, Imoinda, James, Elisha, Andrew, Philip, Stephen and Nicole; and her great grandchildren, Shayna, Jaiden, Kailon, Rosh, Ayla, Marcel, Declan, Lilly Rose and Brynlee Thora Jean.

“My sincere condolences to the entire Romain family. As I said to Anna I will always have fond memories of her mother. I admired her bravery and fortitude in immigrating to Canada as a single parent with four children. I also remember as as a poor university student looking forward to Sunday dinner at the home on Concord ave. Once again my deepest sympathies and may she Rest In Peace. Jay Carey”
