She is survived by: her husband Sin Bak Chuen; her child Sin Wai Cheong Daniel; and her grandchildren, Charles, Phyllis, Henry, Emily and Adrian.
Near the end of her life, Chan Shui Oi was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia that accelerated during the pandemic; we take comfort in knowing she is now in a better place.
Her contributions to her family are immeasurable and have resulted in them becoming successful and valuable contributors to society.
