We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 91, Shirley McConnell of Oakville, Ontario, born in Riviere-Beaudette, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Baker and Ivy Baker; and her sisters, Elizabeth, Margaret, Winifred and Henrietta.

She is survived by: her husband Doug McConnell; her daughters, Debra Dalgleish (Keith) and Nancy Nelson (Brad); her grandchildren, Sarah Stoski, Jason Dalgleish, Robert Nelson (Anneka Oudyk) and Jeffrey Nelson (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Dylan Stoski, Amelia Dalgleish and Isla Nelson; and her sisters, Dorothy Shaw and Lillian Furlong (Ron).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
