It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Margaret Keates (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Mike Keates; her husband Fred Keates; her siblings, Muriel Rivers and Stan; and her parents, Loretta Bovair and Murray Bovair.
She is survived by: her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Sandra; her grandchildren, David, Emily, Alex, Julia, Josh and Emma; and her great grandchild Stella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
