As we bid adieu to Ruth's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ruth has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; and her son Adam. She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan (Sarah) and Cameron (Lori); her grandsons, Matthew, Joshua and Trenton; and her sister Janet.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the National Ballet of Canada.
