He is survived by: his father Rajesh Chander Badhwar; his wife Shashi Badhwar; his children, Karen Bulbul Sibal, Anita Badhwar Rao, Sanjay Basantkumar Sibal and Anil Vithala Rao; and his grandchildren, Vikram Vithala Rao, Divya Vithala Rao, Priyanka Sibal and Manisha Sibal.
