He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Russo and Adelina Russo; his wife Rosa; and his sister Ida (Giuseppe). He is survived by: his children, Emilio (Laura) and Nella (Frank); his grandchildren, Nicolas, Olivia, Ava and Stephanie; his siblings, Alfredo (Antonia) and Dina (Domenic); and his siblings-in-law, Alex (Maria), Domenic (Josie), Tony (Rita) and Filomena (Frank). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Orlando can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
