The memory of Nancy (Walinga) Velsen (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Feike Velsen; her children, Paulette (Daniel), Albert and Coralena; her grandsons, Alexander and Marc; her parents, Rein Walinga and Cornelia Walinga; and her siblings, Jan (Sjoerdtje), Johannes (Joukje), Dirk (Wieke), Pieter, Hiltje (Wieger), Corneliske (Rits), Hieltje, Afke (Coos), Nanne Kroes and Supporting.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Jenke Walinga and Anna Kroes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home Inc. (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery (1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4L8).
