The memory of Morella Lay (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Gibson and Unita Gibson of Hospital Road. She is survived by: her siblings, Hughes (Moc) and Marlin Osman; her children, Ronnie Lay, Cheryll Lay, Jeni Lay, Fleur Lay, Terry Lay (Maureen) and Jasmin Charles (Wayne); her grandchildren, Kaitlan, Cheryl, Kaela (Arthur), Kalum, Kyle, Brianne, Chelsea, Jordan, Ashley (Antonio), Sydney and Brandon; her great grandchildren, Eilish, Kieran, Hudson, Brooke, Kaejah, Jahari, Amayah, Anyah, Avah, Alyssah, Asaiah and Facetime; her nephew Wally Gibson; and her niece Eliza Gibson-Simon (Sean).
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew Roman Catholic Parish (1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, ON L6M1M2).
