He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his sons, Michael and Nicholas; his grandchild Puglia; his parents, Dennis and Mary; his mother-in-law Lina Basso; his brothers, David (Sarah) and Joe (Monika); his brothers-in-law, Lorenzo (Connie) and Vince (Michelle); his nieces and nephews, Laura, Wesley, Sophie, Jordan, Ethan and Mila; and his goddaughters, Laura, Olivia and Sophia. He is also survived by his extended family, life long friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joseph Brant Hospital Oncology Clinic or Princess Margaret Hospital in Mike's memory.
