She was predeceased by: her husband Barry Howie; her grandson Christopher; and her parents, Russell Williams and Pauline Williams. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Johns, Kathleen Howie, Glen Howie (Tanya) and David Howie (Hilary Cunningham); her grandchildren, Sarah (Greg Garbutt), David, Matthew, Robert, William, Benjamin, Abigail, Paige and Owen; and her great grandchildren, Tristan and Arthur. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and many close friends.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maple Grove United Church (346 Maple Grove Dr, Oakville, ON L6J4V5).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
