With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Costante (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mimma; his children, Marco and Matteo; his parents, Antonio Costante and Patricia Costante; his siblings, Angela (Chuck), Margaret (Rob) and Paul (Stephanie); his parents-in-law, Rose and Peter Rinella; and his siblings-in-law, Gus, Vince (Stacy) and Trina. He was also cherished by his extended family and friends.

“I had the pleasure of getting to know Mark and his family during the 22-23 hockey season in Oakville. We were pleased to watch our sons during these games, often together, and enjoyed each other's insights and observations. He had a keen eye for the sport, and was able to often share his enthusiasm, and often with Mimma and Matteo and many other keen members of his extended family. He had a generous spirit, and showed unbiased love and devotion to his family. He will surely missed.”

We first met Mark when he coached Jonah as a goalie on his super six team years ago. Always crossing paths at the rink and school activities Mark couldn’t hide how proud he was of you all and always showed sincere interest in how we were all doing too. Mark will be greatly missed.
