Marianne Elias Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Marianne Elias (Ciccone) on Monday January 1st, 2024 at Credit Valley Hospital. Marianne was a proud wife to her husband John of 41 years, and mother to their three children; Christopher (Caitlin), Matthew and Alicia (Jake). Proud Nonna of Theodore, James and Rupert. Predeceased by her parents George and Barbara Ciccone, as well as her siblings; Clara (Tom) Meschino, Arthur Ciccone and Lorraine (Vince) Trauzzi and her nephew Paul Trauzzi. She is survived by her Sister-in-Law Shirley Ciccone, and her nieces & nephews; Tom Meschino, Janet Fitzpatrick, Peter Meschino, Cathy Meschino, Robert Meschino, David Ciccone, Joanne Campbell, Georgina Ciccone and Michael Trauzzi. Sister in-law , Kathy Marinucci & spouse Remo, nieces & nephew, Christina, Melissa , Marco, brother in-law Peter Elias and predeceased in-laws Christoforos & Chrisoula Elias .

Marianne was a free spirit who cherished her family and friends, and her beloved dog Zakk. She loved to go golfing and lawn bowling with "the girls" at the Acton golf club and the Oakville lawn bowling club . Marianne was a loyal employee to the Bank of Montreal for 47 years and was loved by many of her coworkers. Marianne was proud of her Italian heritage and loved to express this through her cooking. She had a contagious laugh and her smile could light up a room. She was a wonderful mother and was always there when someone needed her. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. She will be deeply missed.
