She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert McLean and Margaret McLean; her husband Jimmy Shanks; her son Colin Shanks (Rosanna); her grandchildren, Tawny Irvine and Ryan Shanks; her great great grandchildren, Keigan and Levi; and her sister Maureen Barclay of Kaslo, BC..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L5L5Z6). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H 7A8). A reception will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L5L5Z6).
Memorial donations can be made in Margaret's memory to the Oakville Humane Society to support her love for animals.
