She was predeceased by: her father Gary Deir. She is survived by: her husband Iain; her sister Katherine (David Mouzenian); and her mother Judith Deir (Rolf Brusse).
Donations in Kim's memory are encouraged to both Ian Anderson House hospice, whose caring staff brought so much happiness to Kim at a difficult time, and to the Pencer Brain Tumour Centre at Princess Margaret Hospital, whose medical team became like family during Kim's 17-year fight with brain cancer.
