With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Filipchuk of Oakville, Ontario, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Didur and Bessie Didur; and her brother Nestor. She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her children, Richard, Allison, Laura and Doug Keating; and her grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, Brianne and Avery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L5L5Z6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Volodymyr's Cemetery (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9). A reception will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
