He was predeceased by: his parents, Perpétua Ferreira Leite and Jose Soares; and his wife Maria Jose. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Fonseca (Frank), Joe Gomes (Sandra) and Michelle Hamilton (Jerome); his grandchildren, Tatiana DaSilva (Andrew), Alexandra Guindon (Josh), Jacob Fonseca (Megan), Emily Khan (Mubi), Isabella, Jordan Gomes, Noah and Jack Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Leonardo, Mateo, Francis and Tomas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home Inc. (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church (181 Sewell Dr, Oakville, ON L6H1E3).
