John Paré Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Paré (Oakville, Ontario), who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Lucien and Bessie; and his brothers, Ed (Penny) and Lou.

He is survived by: his children, Steven (Lina) and Susan (Sergei Drobner) of Oakville; his grandchildren, Julia, Michael, David and Sarah; and his sister-in-law Marilyn.

In later years, John cared patiently and compassionately for Mary while she lived with Alzheimer's and he made new friends through that and at his retirement home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Jazz FM.
