He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marge; and his children, Ray, Sharon, Linda, Jonathan, Jason, Erin and Thomas.

“Jack Berry was a special person who invigorated his students with his broad scientific knowledge, along with an energy that reflected his willingness to bring concepts and processes to his students through hands on learning. He was wonderfully innovative. I was fortunate to spend my first two years of teaching in the Science Department at T. A. Blakelock where Jack headed up a stellar group of young Science teachers. I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of this exceptional person.”
