He is survived by: his wife Shahla; his children, Pourang, Afsoon (Rebecca), Pouneh and Hamid (Cyrus); and his siblings, Dr. Abbas Rahimi, Dr. Saeed Rahimi, Mehrdad Rahimi and Suzan Rahimi.
