He was predeceased by: his parents, Bang Du and Thi Tran; his child Nguyen; and his brothers, Kim Tan Du and Phuoc Du.
He is survived by: his children, Ngoc, Tan, Dung, Huong and Phat; his wife Quyen Le Huynh; his grandchildren, Randy, Thanh, Diana, Linh, Thai, Maria, Michelle, Tommy, Steven and Simon; and his great grandchildren, Julian and Lucien.
In lieu of flowers, there will be a donation box at the funeral home for Phap Van Buddhist Cultural Centre.
