He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Christine Svoboda (Alec) and Teresa Joseph (Gary); and his grandchildren, Nadia, Andrea and Matthew.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home Inc. (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery (1149 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4L8).
