She was predeceased by: her children, Fiorella Maria and Franco Ubaldo (Kim); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Victoria, Nicholas (Alina), Alessandro, Maxwell, Rebecca, Alicia, Matthew and Marco; her great grandchild Francesca; her parents, Pasquale Isabella-Valenzi and Francesca Ianni; and her sister Pina (Giovanni).
She is survived by: her husband Antonio Palermo; her sons, Pasquale (Liz) and Walter (Kim); her siblings, Concetta (Giuseppe), Umberto and Salvatore; and her sisters-in-law, Caterina (Costantino), Maria (Michele) and Rosa (Giovanni). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations to either the cancer care area of The Grand River Hospital in Kitchener or to The Hospice of Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family.
