Gerhard Hacke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerhard Hacke in Oakville, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Gwen; his parents, Hugo and Elli; and his sister Gerda. He is survived by: his spouse Janey; his children, Cornel (Kathy), Collette Rodgers (Rob), Eric (Daria) and Ian (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Amanda, Troy, Brandon, Kyle, Jack, Byron and Willow; his sister Ilse (Alfred); his brother-in-law Ross; his nieces, Kristina, Sabine and Alyssa; his nephew Byron; and his close friend Lanny Huff.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G4Y5). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Erin Food Bank (East Wellington Community Centre) or the Georgetown Hospital Foundation.
