He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Grampa (Fast Edie) of Bugs, GP; his children, Ted and Chris; his daughters-in-law, Erika Carrasco and Nina Henley; his grandchildren, Katie, Abby, Will, Hannah, Nick and Eddie; his siblings, Peter, John, Mary, Elfie, Michael, Cathy, Elizabeth, Ann, David, Chris "Kipper" and Charlie; and his siblings-in-law, Janet, Ray, Harry, Carol Ann, John, Donna, Dawn, Lynne and Cathy MacCallum. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and extended family.

“My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Ed in Toronto and I thoroughly enjoyed being his colleague. I treasured our friendship and I have very fond memories. Ed had tremendous positive impact in everything he did. On a personal note, I recall many conversations about how he enjoyed his family, dog, wine, and of course your travels. I recently trained our puppy to ring the bell to go outside! Treasure all of your wonderful memories. Ed will be missed by many.”
