She was predeceased by: her mother Donzilia Tavares Arruda; her husband Manuel Arruda; and her daughter Dolores. She is survived by: her children, Manuel, Leo Arruda, Natalia Sam (Antonio), Clemencia (Joey) and Isabel (Paul); her grandchildren, Emily, Melissa, Shane, Amanda, Jason, Cassandra, Bianca, Jesse, Johny, Mario, Joshua, Jacob and Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Deon, Dominic, Marcus, Marlin, Elizabeth, Clayton and Julian. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Portuguese Church (2451 Old Bronte Rd, Oakville, ON L6M4J2). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
