He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Callaghan); his children, David (Karen), Edward and Norah (Michael Bate); his grandchildren, Olivia, Emily Jamie, Jacob, Brooke, Elizabeth and Catherine; his siblings, Irving (Mary Jane) and Shirley (late Bernie); and his sister-in-law Jean.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
