He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James (Morag Connelly) and England; his brothers, Ian Connelly (Stephanie Connelly) and James Connelly (Trisha Connelly); and his nieces, Zoe Connelly, Ailidh Connelly and Holly Connelly.

In Lieu of flowers the family has created a Go Fund Me page to support the Up Town Boxing Gym, Suva, Fiji, (https://www.gofundme.com) which was Colin's passion project that he supported for many years.
