She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Bernard and Catherine Bernard. She is survived by: her husband Kevin; her children, Jeffrey (Tia), Daniel (Taylor) and Samantha; her brother Marc (Sue); and her nieces, Kimberley and Katie.

Carole retired in 2019, with most of her travel plans with Kevin interrupted by the pandemic.
