She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Calvert and Eveline Calvert; and her siblings, John Calvert, Marlene Driscoll, Jim Calvert and Susan Gordon.

She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Kari (Dave Scott) and John Jr. (Terri Szego); and her grandchildren, Spencer, Harry Scott, Rhys, Luke and Molly MacKay.

In lieu of flowers, Brenda asked that donations be made to the Odette Cancer Centre.
