In loving memory of Anna (Soroka) Artymyshyn (Oakville, Ontario), who departed this world on December 24, 2024 at the age of 98. Anna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Anna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hryhorij; and her son Yaroslav. She is survived by: her children, Zenia Horlatsch (Walter) and Taras; her granddaughters, Adriana Stechey (Michael) and Alexandra Giorgio (Alexander); and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, Markian and Julian Stechey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church (300 River Oaks Blvd E, Oakville, ON L6H5T1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1A6).
