We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2023, Robert McWhinnie of Norwood, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert McWhinnie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his son Charles; his wife Jeannie; his brother Charles (Chicago); and his brothers-in-law, Charlie Coats, Samuel Coats (Sadie) and Willie Currie (Fay).

He is survived by: his children, Frazer (Zita) of Burlington and Sheena Nesbitt-McWhinnie (Kevin) of Bobcaygeon; his grandchildren, Cory, Robby, Kevin, Justin McWhinnie and Kazz Nesbitt; his great grandchildren, Mackson, Jaxx, Felix, Karsyn and Norah; and his sister-in-law Ina Coats. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Driving me home when I rode my bike to Norwood, catching Sheena and I sneaking in at night, him and aunt Jean dancing beautifully together as one. I always called him my sexy senior uncle and he was a handsome and daper man right till the end.
