He is survived by: his close friend Heather Christine Shields; his children, Jessica (Matt), Emily (Tyler), Ian (Kate), Ryan (Elizabeth) and Ava; his sister Susan; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Chris), Trevor, Kim and Heather (Matt).
