He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Myrtle Carl; and his siblings, Roy Carl, Pearl Hubble, Alma Rossi and Vivian Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Carl (Laura) of Caledonia and Maureen Carl (Randall Anderson) of Ajax; his granddaughters, Valerie Carl of Pickering and Carys Anderson of Ajax; his niece Julie Zufelt (Bob); and his great-nieces, Sarah, Melissa and Emily of Havelock.
