He was predeceased by: his son Wayne (Kim); his parents, Andrew and Julia (Nee Verheye); and his siblings, George (Simone) and Lea (Gabe).

He is survived by: his wife Julie Herreman (Nee Lendvay); his sons, Dan (Linda) and Jeff (Michelle); his grandchildren, Daniel, Rebecca (Jordan) and Darryl (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Rachel and Cooper; his sister Dolly; and his brother-in-law Frank (Carolyn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Medard, may be made to the charity of the choice.
