She was predeceased by: her husband H. Grant Orth; her children, Karen McCann (Tony), Connie Greenshields (Jamie) and Steven Orth (Lisa); her parents, Russell Alderson and Sarah Alderson; and her brother Eldon Alderson.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michelle Watkins, Matthew, Liana Greenshields, Diana and Jacob Orth; her sister Dorothy Leitch; and her son Grant. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
