She was predeceased by: her father Edward Diagre; her husband Joel Jozef Vermeersch; and her sister-in-law Lea Beelprez. She is survived by: her mother Sylvia Diagre (DeWeerdt) of Norwich; her sons, Troy Vermeersch of Woodstock and Nathan Vermeersch (Amanda) of Ingersoll; her grandchildren, Tyron, Brennan, Aries, Makayla and Noelle; her siblings, Jenny Landuyt (Frank), Christine Vander Heide, Nadine Bunko (Raymond) and Michel Diagre (Debra); and her parents-in-law, George Vermeersch (Willy), John Vermeersch, Dan Vermeersch (Dianne), Noel Vermeersch (Dorothy), Clara Dehens (Urbain), Georgette Goris (Marcel) and Jenny Bouw (Peter). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Jeannine's wishes, but in light of COVID-19 physical distancing regulations, a Private Family Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate both Jeannine and Joel's Legacies will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tillsonburg by Rev. Fr. John Pirt and Rev. Fr. Al Dufraimont, of Our Lady Queen of Martyr's Catholic Church, Delhi.
