He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hughes and Thirza Hughes; and his brothers, Ken Painter and Robert Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hughes (Pat); his children, Darryl (Tammy), Chris (Cassy) and Jason (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Brianna, Riley, Madison, Cole, Mackinley and Kennedy.
