He was predeceased by: his father Hermann Kutzscher; and his nephew Adam. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Kutzscher; his siblings, Michael (Lia), John (Sue) and Michelle (Reid McCall); and his nieces and nephews, Shyla, Kevin, Ashley, Hillary, Rowan, Hailey, Casey and Jackie.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ian, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
