She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel VanNess and Elsie VanNess; her spouse Durland Samuel Boomhower; her son Samuel (Linda); her siblings, John, Calvin, Lorne, Sally and Madeline; and her granddaughter Brittnay Joy Boomhower.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alvin (Elda) and Doreen Soules; and her grandchildren, Kevin (Janine), Sammi-Lynn, Michael (Jennifer), Michelle (Eric), Stacey, Tara, James (Lisa), Courtney, Travis (Lauren), Nicholas (Jenna), Lynsey, Tyler (Naydeen), Emma and Alex. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
