He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Stephen (Jean) and Matthew (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Austin and Sarah.
He is survived by: his daughter Catherine (Clifton); his grandson Richard (Leshada); his great grandchild Hunter; his nieces, Lois, Lynne, Patricia (Joe), Carolyn and Patti (Steve); and his nephew Don.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery (5th Concession Rd S, Flinton, ON K0H1P0). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Milestone Funeral Center (11928 Hwy 41, Northbrook, ON K0H2G0). During COVID, he taught himself how to make many stringed instruments and then taught himself to play them (banjo, mandolin).
