He was predeceased by: his brother Ray Karvat. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Goodman; his children, David (Carol), Stuart (Randy), Mark (Maia) and Stephanie; his daughter-in-law Lorna Vallings; and his sister Joan Eiley of Toronto.
