She was predeceased by: her daughter Wendy Kates; and her siblings-in-law, Kevin Kates, Sheila Kates, Bonnie and Marvin Gries.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Kates; her child Shawn Kates (Janice Jacobs); her siblings, Janice, Morrie Goldsmith, Arlene and Fred Faber; her sister-in-law Dr. Judy Turner; and her nieces and nephews, Marnie, Shelbi, Dana, David, Andrea and Nady Gries.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:30 PM. A shiva will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
