It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurence Ralph Long (North York, Ontario), who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Long and Margaret Long; his sisters, Elizabeth Long and Mary; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Wyatt and James Wise.

He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Long (Sean Taylor) and Amy Long (TJ Dawe); his grandsons, Heath and Liam Taylor; his sister Linda Gwin; his sister-in-law Roberta Wise; his niece Mary Ellen (Gary Jonas); and his nephews, Robert Wyatt (Joanne) and Daniel Wise (Frances).

Given the current pandemic situation, restrictions on attendance and genuine concern for the well being of all, the family will be holding a visitation by invitation only at R. S. Kane Funeral Home at 6150 Yonge Street, North York on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in Larry's memory be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
