He is survived by: his wife Fukiko (Nancy); and his siblings, Mitzie Yoshida (Ben), Sumiko Nakanishi (Susie), Nobby Nakanishi (Sakae) and Aiko Taba.

When he sold electronics, he delivered my precious, first audio system (a Sony turntable, tuner and speakers) to Hamilton and set it up in my studio apt. He downplayed his talent, but he was a serious photographer who explored his subjects with precise intent. His Scarboro Bluffs series was part of a group exhibition at the JCCC. I admired his kika-nisei ability to speak Jpnz, his Jpnz culinary skills, his bi-cultural perspective, his wry candour.”
