Brian Westlake wrote a sympathy message

“We will miss Jeff as fellow residents of Governor's Hill where he ably served as a director for many years and President for the past two years. Jeff was an engaged leader, who brought his business background and acumen to this role, to the enduring benefit of his friends at Governor's Hill. Brian and Joyce Westlake”

Dale Jeffries wrote a sympathy message

“Jeff was one of the first to welcome my family to our new home at Governor's Hill. We will miss his big personality and his willingness to share his knowledge when it could benefit others. Even while in hospital he insisted on contributing to our community. It takes a special person to worry about others, when most would be just focussed on their own issues. Do you not wish those in the news understood the concept of "to serve"? Jeff understood.”
