With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Patrick Ryan (North York, Ontario), who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Daniel Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel Patrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ryan and Nora Ryan (Hayes). He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Dan and Steve (Mary Frances); and his granddaughters, Abby and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (24 Cheritan Ave, Toronto, ON M4R). A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
